Try Woodcrest and Orangecrest in Riverside. It's basically the same as Menifee, same home designs and everything. I live in Orangecrest and my friend is in Menifee, all the new homes are identical in design. There are a lot of horse ranches and orange groves here, great people too. One of those places where you lock your doors by choice, not because you have to.

Oh, and great schools too. The local high school is a 9/10 on the those rating websites last I checked.

Yeah it’s becoming an issue for our little city. As previously mentioned the city continues to build homes without focusing on the infrastructure and opening of businesses. Traffic is becoming an issue, with no real fix in sight.

Most communities in menifee are Master plan developments so HOAs come in to play.

There is a nice community off clinton Keith called French valley. Property tax is on par with most southwest riv co communities. Plus you get Temecula/Murietta school districts depending on where you live

Woodcrest is a great little community.
Mother in law lives in woodcrest. The schools are really good.

I moved from Oceanside to Winchester, French Valley to be exact. We belong to Temecula School district, no HOA, low special assessments, and neighborhood is nice and calm. Been there 6 months. Can't complain.

House was $450, special assessment like $200 a month. People around my neighborhood take good care of their homes. Homes continue to sell at higher prices in this area.

So top 2 choices menifee and Winchester.

But hemet and perris sound good for prices on the houses. We know someone who lives in hemet and she loves it..

Anyone here live in hemet and can share your experience?

I worked in Hemet for 5 years, I’d avoid down town area unless things have cleaned up since relocating. @HeadStrong Off-Road is in Hemet so that’s a plus :D

Bro I would think twice about hemet. Perris has a nice new development off Ethanac. I think Winchester is your best bet. New homes off Newport

Depends also what you like to do outside of work. Hemet is kinda off in the boonies, so if you like to stick close to home, it might not be that bad. About 30-45 min commute to the hospital, depending an where in Hemet, and what route and time.

I like Menifee, but traffic is getting really bad and most areas have HOA and mello roos. You might be able to find something in 'The Farm' in Wildomar and avoid any other association fees. There's a community in Perris I was looking at that seemed okay, Green Valley Ranch. Not sure what an of the schools are like, but I hear good things about Murrieta and Menifee school districts. My wife works at a Moreno Valley school and it doesn't seem bad.

Moreno Valley is pretty bad, I wouldn't move there. It's nick named "Murder Valley". I've seen some nicer areas but you just drive 2 miles down the road and it's rough again, but all the kids go to the same school anyways so I wouldn't live there with kids.

    really appreciate it
I have a 2 year old and 7 year old, and would like them to attend better schools. Moreno valley is kinda checked off for me.

it looks like I may have to increase my budget to find something I really want.

My oldest son is going to YMCA in southbay while school is not open. Do you guys know of any sites or locations where can kids can attend when school starts back up?

My wife would like to work when we move, but its hard when you have kids since they will have to taught virtually
