    That's what populated in the stock tire size field.. is that the stock size for an Off-Road?

    here is a milage chart for my 2010 4wd double cab. 60/40 highway city. peaks generally correspond to highway, valleys to city. the general trough from tanks 25-45 were winter driving months. this spans roughly 14 months of driving, august 2010 to october 2011.

    Thanks! I figured It out with the new tire size and its still good mpg's. Lol 6.4 difference. Last tank was 18.87. 358 miles on a tank.

    if you're concerned that much about gas milage why not look at a extended cab 4cyl, even 2wd if you can handle it. you're looking at a difference of over 550lbs

    I'm averaging about 18.5 mpg each week. I drove with a heavier foot last week and got 18.2. If I drive with a feather foot staying behind slower moving vehicles, I get closer to 18.9 mpg, at least right now with wintermix fuels. My commute is 80% highway driving speeds (60-70mph), but with various stops. Gas has strictly been 87 octane.

    My best average was still with the first tank of gas I paid for, 19.5 mpg back in Oct. Soon I'll be switching over to synthetic oil, and expect to see some improvement. I eventually want to try using 93 octane to see for myself if there really is an MPG improvement...which, if there is, would still be a wash in terms of additional cost + added MPGs. Its worth noting that I was able to get 25 mpg in my old mazda6 v6 each week, with regular quicker than necessary driving, which was rating for 17/23 city/highway.

    Mcdowell, I can't see anyone getting a constant 21 mpg. Spec after a lift and adding more weight to the truck. U driving like grandma, or did u do something else?

    The bull bar and step rails will kill your MPG.

    Check my Fuelly page, I'm pretty damn close. I get far better MPGs with higher grade gasoline, unfortunately I cannot afford the up front cost. For longer road trips I always run premium (none documented on fuelly though). All those figures are with 32" BFG A/T, which are pretty damn heavy.

    I try to keep the RPMs under 2K while accelerating, and use the cruise at 70-75MPH on the highway.
