I'm looking into trading in my tundra for a Tacoma in hopes of imporved gas mileage. My inital interest is the DC (two kids) 2.7 Auto 4x2 because it's supposed to get 19/25mpg. However, I am going to use it to tow a utility trailer on occasion (mulch, wood, etc)...and I see that the V6 (4x2) Auto is supposed to get 17/21. I would LOVE to get the manual V6, but it appears that it get's even worse 14/18mpg...I want to make it worth while to get rid of the Tundra otherwise I would just keep it at those mpg's. Anyone have any real world experience with the 2.7 Auto 4x2 Double Cab and the V6 Manual 4x2 Double cab and their actual MPG's?

    Any insight is appreicated.

    Thanks,
