278A8065-EAD8-47CA-8921-3D76ED1324D7.jpg Gone are the days of shivering while getting breakfast ready and a fire going at camp, I think. Testing this morning and really impressed with the heat it throws out. Light north breeze and on high there is no flickering but turn a heat little lower it seems to flicker a bit more. Going to see how long it will run on high with this little canister.

I have that little buddy for hunting —also have the dewalt blower thing too. Makes frigid temps hot as balls in minutes. Need full size propane tank And a dewalt battery too though.

Me too so far. At my age, I have zero problems admitting I HATE COLD. So this should help. :D

Used about 3/4 of that 1lb bottle at high setting for about 3.5/4 hours. Also noticed it doesn't perform too good as the winds increase. No worries on that though as I was testing in the wide open garage. I think this little thing is a keeper.

I'll be in a deer blind for the first time in 25 years this coming November. So hell yes I planned ahead on this purchase. :D Should be down right toasty in the blind where I'll be hunkered down.

The best place to be in the fall. Our deer are looking decent this year. We hunt up near Stillwater. Family land we bought out from the rest of our family. What about you?

They are pretty good when it's not too cold out. Below 0* and it starts to get a lot of fun getting the pilot light going.

I'm down in Burnet county. My inlaws have some land my kiddos have been hunting on for years. My turn now. Have a good one.

I'd move from this great state if it ever gets to be 0 degrees. :D

I use the 2 burner in my pop up camper, keeps it super warm all the way down to 10°, maybe colder.

Work great, but the little buddy heater is useless. Camped ice fishing and packed the lighter one and almost froze.

There is a cool hack to put one of those fireplace fans on here and it helps a lot. I actually just stumbled on this.

Excellent and I'll take a look. Power outage woke my arse up to 55 degrees in the house. Restored about 10 minutes ago.

That's one thing we are worried about here. I need to get the generator out of the garage and prepped just in case.

This little heater is saving my arse. Power on 4 hours then off for a few. I run it for a few minutes every hour or so when power goes down...window slightly open when running though.
    Y’all stay safe.

Mr. Buddy has saved my ass a few times. It has a low oxygen sensor that cuts it off if co2 builds to dangerous levels (I use a co2 sensor just to be safe) but the same sensor can cause it to cut off at high altitude (I think it is @ like 8000ft). Something important to note.

Thanks. I am not as salty as I used to be so I never look forward to sleeping in the cold. The insulation, Mr buddy, and a good sleeping bag make it luxurious. I hang one of those silly rechargeable neck fans above mr buddy to circulate the heat.

You've got a very capable looking rig there. Like the RTT set-up

I've got a little one of those buddy heaters and they work incredibly well. Just make sure you're well ventilated!
