The flat panel on the rear tail gate is awesome and better suited for camping than the stock one.

Hey Dean, I know this is gotta be getting redundant buuuuut.....I love your whole setup. I was just curious on the specs of your new Snugtop? About to pull the trigger on one but leaning hard towards a LEER 100XR because they offer the "LEER LOCKER" overhead sliding drawer option, but really like the looks of yours. Thanks

Its all good. I always happy to answer questions. It helps others make informed decisions about the money we are about to drop on our money pits, lol.

About the Snugtop, the specs on it are:

Rebel with the Sportsmans Package (high weight capacity for the roof)
    Fold down slider front window
Dual windoors with sliding windows (I remvoed the mesh over the windows so my pups could stick their heads out)
Prolock (all locks operate off of one key as well)
    Carpeted interior
    Bedrug installed
Yakima tracks (I had to grind down the frontrunner nuts to get them to fit into the yakima rails)
Front runner roof rack (1165mmx1358mm, tall kit)

There is a Leer dealer 20 minutes from me. This is my third Snugtop and after seeing what Leer and ARE had to offer and seeing them in person, I chose to order a Snugtop from a dealer that was a little over 2 hours away. That is how much I prefer the Snugtop over the Leer and ARE.

Since I got the Adventure Trailers Scepter Watercan Holders mounted, I made a new pressurized watercan. The strap prevents me from using my old setup so I figured out something a little different. Works just as great as the first one did. Also, for those that are wondering, 2 gallon Rotopax fuel cans fit side by side in the Adventure Trailers holders very well.

I'd tend to agree. The Snugtop's that I've seen appear to be quite superior to the Leer and ARE ones. I have a Leer but only because the Snugtop is not readily available in my area. :(
Quality stuff as usual Dean.

A week ago I received a piece of recovery gear that I had been meaning to buy for a long time now. It was the hi-lift round slider adapter made by Shmellmopwho. Another company was making these but the wait time was longer than I would have liked. I PM'd Shmellmopwho and he was able to get the product done and shipped the next day. The adapter fits snugly onto the hi-lift and fits onto my Demello sliders perfectly. The Hi-Lift is a dangerous piece of equipment when it is improperly used and it is my last resort. The slider adapter has helped to make the Hi-Lift just a tad bit safer because there is a smaller chance that the hi lift may slip left or right when jacking the truck up using the sliders. It doesn't look pretty but it does its intended job very well. Definitely a good piece of gear that should be in the inventory of anybody that owns a hi-lift with round sliders. On another not, I need to clean and re-grease those climbing pins!

Thanks for the positive feedback on the slider adapter!! I appreciate your support. I'll try to make them look a little more appealing in the future haha

Stupid question but im looking into going with icon over fox as well but are these the same as the extended travel coilovers? Meaning is that the same as long travel all the other brands usually have it labeled as either mid or long travel.

Its been a while since I posted but now that the semester is over and our house is finished, I can get to work on a few things on the truck. First up is some scheduled maintenance.

Siiick!! How much was that lift? Does it run off of 110v? 220? I'm thinking of building a new garage soon at my house and this is an item I would love to have!!

It runs off 220. The company is out of San Diego and their lifts are highly rated. Price is right around the cost of a stage 5 icon suspension setup.
