Here she is the day I bought here. Nice and clean. No scratches or dents or holes drilled into her....yet.

First major modifications came about 7 months later. Donahoe (now called Icon) suspension up front. I have went through some fox's up front which didnt give me the lift and ride quality I was looking for. I have recently had the suspension in the picture rebuilt by Icon to be extended with the reservoirs. Ride is 100x better than the fox's.

Wheels at the time were Wheelers Steelies 16x8. Reason for the switch was to shed some weight so I now have the Wheelers Alloys in 16x8 which are sold by pro comp.

And for the rear I have OME Dakar springs. At the time I did not upgrade the rear shocks but I have went through Donahoes in the rear (were not long enough for the 2.75" of lift the Dakars give you) but now I have some fox's in the rear which are great.

90% of the installs are done by me at my house.

And here she is with 265/75-16 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain TA KM. The tires at the time were perfect and I ran this size for almost two years.

Got stuck in a deep rut on the Main Divide.

Here you can see my old Firestik Antenna which didnt get good reception at that location so I went with the Wilson 1000 later.

In this shot you can see the Demello bolt on sliders. Demello has a great product that I highly recommend to anyone. Oh, and sliders should be one of your first modifications if you plan on offroading.

I was transferred to Hawaii in the summer of 2007. Not a whole lot of places to wheel here in Hawaii but I have had a great time in the places that you can.

I had a topper for a short while. It was a Snugtop XV. I do plan on purchasing another when I get back to California.

I mounted my Garmin GPS 60CSx in the corner of the window where the black plastic piece is. This is the best location I have found for this unit for visibility and ease of use.

DeeZee toolbox that fits perfectly in the bed.

Hi-Lift 48" jack with 4XRAC mounted to the inside of the bed.

    Switches for front lights.

Fuespanel for misc electronics I have been adding.

    U-bolt flip kit from All-Pro.

Lightforce lights mounted to an All-Pro plate bumper.

All-Pro plate bumper. Here she is with the new tires (BFGoodrich Mud Terrain TA KM2 in 285/75-16) mounted on Wheelers Alloys 16x8.

I took the plunge and added a snorkel from Safari Snorkel.

Some Kaena Point four-wheelin withe my wife driving.

Added a 1000W inverter. One plug up front with a switch/led for on/led for overload. Three plugs in the back. Inverter is located under the drivers seat.

Speakers for CB/HAM mounted on center pillars. Drivers side is HAM, passenger is CB. These were like $15 for both on eBay.

    Current switch setup.

    _DSC2032_07ef9cd3aa7b7d271dbd53bbb740d2d87674e272.jpg

I upgraded my radio to a Pioneer AVH-8400BH and with it being a double DIN, it gave me the excuse to go ahead and get a Cobra 75WXST CB radio. I also moved around a few items and cleaned everything up a bit.

This is the new setup. I wanted everything within plain view for the driver.

    _DSC2065_1212c73ff88a9ed770c7e7d489c51fe29b4e2f5b.jpg

The 75WXST was mounted next to the Garmin GPS. I used a piece of flat metal from the hardware store and mounted the mic holder up.

    _DSC2071_73b6438c73219d53cbeaa57151aae8f25b85f682.jpg

The Yaesu was also moved up on top of the steering column. I used two l-brackets that costed $.60 from Lowes and painted them black. For the mic, I put velcro on the back and mounted a velcro strip below the AC controls.

Front of plate with the mic holder for the 75WXST. The mic holder I got off of ebay. The mic won't fall out when you are out on the trails with this holder.

Finally got around to start assembling the Hutchinson's.

Had my little helper doing what he always does...cause trouble.

1 down, 4 more to go.

Got the truck back last night. Many thanks to Demello Offroad for everythign that was done to the truck. It feels great driving the truck again after 6 weeks of it being gone. This is what was added:

    -TC +2" kit
    -Cam gussets
    -Spindle gussets
    -Icon coilovers
    -ARB compressor
    -ARB rear air locker
    -4.88's
-Demello swingout added to the armortech rear bumper
    -Snugtop Campershell
    -35" Goodyear MTR's
    -17" Hutchinson beadlocks

Still waiting to do the following:

-Icon rear 2.0 custom length shocks
    -Chop fenders 3 inches
    -Lower front end 1 inch
    -Hook up license plate lights
    -Armortech dual battery tray

Some not-so-good pictures. Sun was almost down for these so the ISO was bumped up a little bit.

Spent the day at Fiesta Island today. Flares are about 90% complete. I eventually chopped 4 inches off of the flare. One of the pictures shows the flare. May not be as clean as it can but I like it the way it is.

    Picture of the flare.

Had a chance to test out the new suspension and air locker today. Air locker has made a load of difference. Places that I had some trouble getting up before I had made it up in one shot with no problems. Got my moneys worth out of that today.

At one spot it was a battle between the fender flares and the tires. Tires won. My steering wheel is now cocked at a 20 degree angle to the right. Going to get it re-aligned tomorrow afternoon.

I am very pleased with everything so far. Now I just need the new Icon shocks to get put in. The fox's are garbage and are worn out.

Damn I have been waiting for this build! Definitely one of my favorite White trucks on here! good work!

I noticed you have different mudflaps that looks like the 1st gen. Care to explain that?

I modified mudflaps from a 1st gen Tacoma to fit. :D

Living in Hawaii has been a great experience. Great people, great scenery, and of course great food! It costed roughly $1000 to ship it over which is going to be about the same to ship it back to California.

    Hey boss,

where did you get the fuse panel? That is great if you are going to have a bunch of accessories.
