I posted this question about 5 milliseconds before you posted your photos yesterday... Not sure you saw my question :(.. So.. ? :D Looks like you could utilize a shackle flip big time!

It's not on my list of priorities but eventually yes, along with everything else I would like to get done.

Looks like you've got plenty of flex without doing a shackle flip.

And that's why it is not a priority at the moment. I really need to get my dual battery project moving along so I can get a winch mounted.

I'm an electric newb, but why do you need dual batts for a winch?

    You don't.

In a dual battery system you want the winch on the starter battery as it's the shortest path to the alternator.

But a second battery is great for lights, fridges, stereos or anything else. It's can be totally isolated from the starter so you can run those accessories all night and not worry about your truck not starting in the morning.

And you can link the batteries for extra umph for winching if you want too.

Damn your truck is done right! Simply awesome! Pelfreybilt bumper looks great...not that I'm a little bias or anything! I cannot wait to get his high clearance rear so I can stop dragging my hitch all over the country.

I am looking forward to seeing how you set up your dual batteries. It is pretty obvious you like your gadgets and I anticipate your setup will not leave me disappointed.

Have you ever considered putting some solar panels on the roof? I saw that Whitecloud and colinb17 are both setting them up.

I like taking still pictures but I think there may be some video out there of it. I know there was video being taken this past weekend.

I bought this truck on Aug 5th, 2006. Almost 7 years of building her up. It will come eventually.

I likved living in Hawaii but there was no variety of wheeling on Oahu.

Dusy is more closer to me than the Rubicon :D

I haven't given solar panels any real thought. Mainly because I have other plans of what I am going to put on the rear roof rack.

Yeah I wouldn't want to waste any roof rack space either. Maybe if there was a way to plug them in and strap them down as needed. That way you could just strap them on top of the cargo or Build something clip it onto the side of the roof rack.

Weather tech floor mats, fog light any time mod, derped front embelem, Pelfretbilt 3 hoop plate bumper, 10k warn xeon winch-s some leds, pelfreybilt roof rack, scs stealth series rims, wrangler authority tires, BAMF 96" bolt on sliders, BAMF dif skid, some dirt....
Or have panels under ur rack, facing up but have em on drawer slides, for example u have gear on top when u go camping, u stop somewhere n slide them out like a mini awning and if u have nuttin on top the sunlight goes thru the rack n still hits the panels, this idea needs improvement but jus spit ballin

A 5w small solar panel for a battery tender couldn't hurt if the truck sits for a long time. But not really needed with a good alternator.

Oh there is plenty still left to do. I'm only about 1/2 way done with this build.
