Been seeing a lot of cool builds so I figured I'd throw mine in too
    Here we go:
    image.jpg
This was the day I brought her home, so innocent and 6,000 miles younger. Paint was a big eye sore, but kinda low on the to do list because of other issues that were more important.
    image.jpg
Doing some minor maintanence. Transmission and valve cover leaking, quoted over $1500 from stealership, both fixed by simply tightening the bolts on tranny pan and valve covers. Fresh oil and filter.
    image.jpg
    image.jpg
Being the high school kid I am, naturally I had to throw on the led bar and pods on the bed. Also threw in TRD license plate frames for good measure. I ran the wiring through firewall and up from under the plastic door liner for rear lights and used rigid buttons by my feet (which may not have been such a great idea as someone already kicked off one of the buttons lol)
    image.jpg
First little taste of off-roading. Had to take advantage of the little bit of rain we got which is rare in SoCal
    image.jpg
    image.jpg
    image.jpg
Next up was the level and wheels and tires. This was taken the morning of install. BFG KO2s and HBS 2" level
    image.jpg
    image.jpg
Little break in for the tires. Much better than the old 235s I was running.

Now for sound. Went from stock radio to a pioneer one, mainly for the auxiliary and charging capabilities.
    image.jpg

Most recent change was finally getting around to that ugly paint job. Kinda hard to see in pic but the guy did a really good job. Looks like a factory paint job.
    image.jpg

    What's next:
Currently have an All Pro tube bumper collecting dust on the side of the house. Hopefully will find time to mount that in the next week or two. Also looking into a camper shell and winch. Will update as things change.

Heh, welcome to the club. I've got a small fortune in truck parts and a small family of moths in my wallet.

Yup. Learning fast how expensive having a serious hobby really is. Itll be quite a shock when (hopefully never) i damage my truck and have to dump even more into it

It's an expensive hobby, especially when you're a broke student. Saving money for school is overrated....

School budgets are the best, haha. I've got a year and a couple quarters left then I'm out!

Yep. Just gotta do what you can with what youve got. You should start a build thread too when you start modding your truck. Always cool to see fellow first gen'rs
