Also need better tie down options for bed. I want low and mid height tie downs in the front, middle, and rear sides of bed like a chevrolet. Any good options out there that will work with all the plastic?

PS, also need a way to get into the bed with the tailgate down. It has a 4runner bumper on it for some reason...

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    Rekgen mudflaps. Worth every penny.

She was a member here when she started her business. Things didn't go well, she didn't handle the problems well. It now seems that things are working smooth. I'm happy with mine (I bought the V1 when she cleared them out).

Bed tiedowns: how much weight? There are a few options that would work for low weight. Anything heavy and I'd suspect the factory tiedowns are your only option.

I too have a ktjo handle

and I used some tracks from us cargo for tie downs.

my universal pair of mud flaps looked like they belonged on a subie.

Wut? You bought your 2023 Tacoma used? The previous owner put a 4Runner bumper on there? From which generation? The 4th and 5th gen 4R bumpers are just plastic shells hiding a welded-in frame crossmember underneath.

Is it 4Runner bumper, or plastic bumper? Some Tacos, like mine, have plastic bumpers to accommodate the rear /cross path sonars.

KTJO is still the only ones available?

Rekgen said they wont work on my SR trim.

For the bed tie downs I dont need much weight just strong enough to tighten down

Can't you just step directly on the tailgate? Never had to use the bumper to assist with getting into the truck bed.

no I have to go get a stool or crawl up in there. Everything that ive had up to this one there has been a flat part on the top of the bumper there that was a little lower than the tailgate so you could step on it to get into the bed. This one is designed like an suv for some reason

I bought these for my 2021 SR and they bolted right up. The instructions were wrong on which spacer goes with what bolt at the time, but if was easy to figure out and they may have fixed it now.

For tie downs I drilled out some cheap D rings with a step bit and put them under the front bed bolts and used some threaded T-nuts in the bed channel to mount some more D rings, not sure if that's close enough to your goals.

can you post a couple of pics of front and rear flaps from the side. I just want to see what the alignment and gaps look like on the SR with those rekgens

the d ring option may work bud id rather have them on the sides not down in the bottom of the bed where the stuff is that im strapping down.
