Has anyone removed the mud flaps?

For full disclosure the snow, sleet, ice and my foot from kicking them has “weakened” their integrity over this winter - and one just fell off sometime over the last week and I have no idea where it is anyway. (Well it is somewhere in the ditch within Huron County.) Most of all the screws have fallen out. So I just removed the last three. Truck doesn’t look any worse.....

    Leave them off?

    If this were me......

I'd reinstall and not kick so hard plus an occasional check of the fasteners.

The rear flaps broke off of my 2007 in 2010. Pulled the others off and haven't missed them. I've been driving for 40+ years, the Tacoma is the only vehicle I've ever owned that had mud flaps. At least 90% of the other trucks on the road have never had 'em either. Never had a single issue not having them.
