mud in brakes...

    so if i mud in the brakes... is it going to be ok?

    my brake pad will just clean the rotors right?

    its not great for the brakes, but it will wear away. When you get home(or go to a carwash) and just hit the brake area with some water to make sure

    ^^^be carefull after you do this period, since you wont have your full braking power since its wet

    Wont have full breaking power with mud in there either though but yes just be careful

    I dont know about the tacos brakes but on my old s-10 the anti-locks went nuts utill i cleaned them they engage every time i touched the pedal they just keept locking ang unlocking like i said though once i washed them out they were finr Just somthing to keep in your mind

    make sure to get it out of the vents in the rotors. Mud gets into everywhere and starts the thrashing process.

    Don't forget about the drum brakes.....

    Take the wheels off and take the drums off and hose out the internals of the drum brakes. They can get nasty in there also.

    wow, good thing the mud wasn;t everywhere on the rotors... I think i'll get a car wash today. I haven't wash that truck since like oct.
