I just took my fronts off about an hour ago, odd how I just came across this thread. I believe they look better w/out and make the truck look like it has more lift. I kept my backs on because I just payed $550 for repairs on a hit and run incident to my driver's side rear fenderwell and wouldn't care to retake the thin layer of new paint off.

    Nothing yet, brand new!
You are in Cali so I would say leave them on. I would imagine that CA being the most regulated state in the nation has a law requiring mud flaps. I believe they have a law regulating the usage of toilet paper and ass wiping.

I took mine off, but I'm getting the 3m clear film installed here in a few weeks to protect the paint.

i'm not a fan of the mud flaps. the only time i would use them is off roading to protect the paint a bit.

i removed all of mines cause I found a crack in 2 of them: 1 up front 1 in the rear...

I may eventually put them back...but at the same time truck looks cleaner and higher without em on...

I'm keeping mine on because I spend a lot of time driving on dirt/gravel roads and want to keep my paint looking good as long as possible.

Since then I took all of them off. One actually ripped off offroading.

I lost one of my mudflaps why doing some light off-roading. I ended up buying a replacement because the overall protection it provides for the body of your truck is worth it!
