Muffler issues

    I bought a Banks Monster exhaust and after 2000k mile trip my chrome tip turned copper color. I reported it to Banks and they sent me a new tail section and after further checking a new muffler since mine was spitting out chunks of fiberglass. I have installed the new muffler and tail section and after a few hundred miles the chrome tip has turned colors again. It looks like someone took a blow torch and burned it. Anyone else have chrome tipped exhausts that have turned colors?

    Yeah I have the Flowmaster dual exhaust kit and the tips turned a little brown. But not bad at all.:rolleyes:

    I have a polished Stainless steel end, and it doesnt change color..
