Multi information display

How do i enable the speed limit display? It displays the speed limit but doesn't warn me if i'm exceeding the speed. The technology is a learning curve for me. Any help is appreciated.

not sure but might not have that capability? if it does it would be in the nav system. i would like the system to mute or turn down the sound when shifting into reverse but that also is not an option.....

 

Have you consulted the manual? I just looked, and it doesn't appear to be capable of giving you a warning for speeding.

 

There is a setting in the head unit. It doesn't give an audible warning but the speed limit sign on the MID becomes outlined in red if you are exceeding it.

 

My rear view mirror shows a warning with flashing lights and sirens ... happens automatically when above the speed limit.

 

That would get annoying. To each their own tho, if you like that feature more power to ya.

 

It's only on the compass display with an outline if over the limit. Not very useful.

 

I did find the menu option to enable it but I cannot find it now that I am looking for it. I believe it was on the nav settings and there was also an alert.

It would be nice if the setting were programmable. It seems to be set for 0mph over. My old TomTom had a 5mph grace setting.
Even nicer if it could be Yellow at 0 to +4 and red from +5 and above. Software update?

 

On the display between the gauges, on the far right tab, you can set "pop ups". You must have this enabled for speed limit warning to see them.

 

Didn't want to start a new thread, so hopefully I can get a response here.
Anyone know why there are 4 information display windows but you can only put info on 3 of them?

Is there a way to change the order of things in the display?

Right now i have speedo and distance to empty. I want speedo and the running mpg with the bar.
