I started with the right side of the glove box, then the left side to loose that up. Then underneath the steering wheel. Lastly, I worked the center console from the back the towards the front (remove the shift knob). It's a lot of work to get to it but well worth it to keep the oem look

Wow! That's a lot more involved than I thought it was going to be. It'll be worth it in the end, though. Thanks for the info!

isnt it a shame they didnt include knock outs so we can add switches. its like they arent even thinking straight. i wonder if they had a change in management from good to dumb ass.

Sorry I didn't have any detailed instructions but you literally have to pull some panels on the rights side to loosen up the glove box, then take off the lower panels on the driver side, then take the middle console apart with the shifter. This will then give you access to that panel.

Yeah it's the whole piece. Don't know why Toyota did it that way but it's a little challenging to get to it and replace it.

    Let's go explore
I was wondering how hard it was to wire the LED light bar wiring down to that center switch panel.

I have seen guys wire it to the left of the steering wheel, but not all the way down to the center switch panel.

I have an extra switch blank that I want to replace with a LED light button like yours. I would greatly appreciate any info or tips.

I had to swap out the panel since mine didn't have the blank slot originally but since you already have it, you will only need to push the blank tab out and then take the panel out below the steering wheel. Then fish the wire through the front of the panel until you see it in the back then pull it through. It should be fairly easy.

    What a fun truck!
This is the best thing I've seen so far. It's for the cubby hole on the left of the steering wheel.
