    Hello everyone,
I have a 2018 tacoma 4x4 off road. I did a 6” lift kit with 35” tires about 1 year ago. I didn’t have any issues for the first 2 months. Then, my truck’s PCS light turned on and hasn’t gone away since. The dealer didn’t want to do anything because of the lift. Then, the ABS light turned on a couple of months after and hasn’t gone away either and recently the “ check stability control” light turned on. I almost have every dashboard light turned on in my truck. I been dealing with this issue for 1 year. The trucks runs great, but those lights are annoying. Is there anything to bypass those lights? I been trying to get help, but no one knows what to do. I’m in Los Angeles California

I haven’t connected a reader to my truck but the lights turned on are the ABS, PCS and check stability control system

    Black electrical tape?

Just kidding, you should probably start with getting the codes.

The easiest way to disable the lights is to fix the problem. Get the codes read and do a visual inspection on the wheel speed sensors on each corner.

Dude buy a scantool. Scan truck. Get codes. Fix what is broke. You probably jacked up a wheel speed sensor. Does that mean you did??? Who knows. Buy a scantool. Its 2020. Buy a scantool. Then you know. Then whoever you ask can help you.

I guess you can return the truck to stock and see in these lights disappear.

^ This, OP have the codes pulled and then go from there. I have seen it many times over where a wss had a broken wire or bad connection. Are you still able to use 4wd? Try going to a different dealership and see what they say. A dealership not wanting to pull codes or look for a possible electrical issue because of a lift and tires is fucking stupid and lazy.

Crawl under your truck and check all your wheel speed sensors, it will literally take you less than 5 minutes.

I stayed stock height with 265/75r16 DuraTracs. A extra inch or two of ground clearance from lift and bigger tires is overkill with the off roading I do.

I would do a visual inspection of all the ABS lines on all 4 wheels. Dont half ass it either, pull each wheel off and follow the line to is connector. Make sure all are in place and tight. An ABS line could have become lose or torn during the lift install. That is where I would start and as others have expressed get the codes. Good luck.

He's right though. Issues are issues whether or not they're able to be fixed. You start changing CV angles, joints etc, you're gonna have issues. It's wether or not you're prepared to keep up on them or deal with them.

This is exactly all I’m saying. I’m not trying to come off as a douche fellas, I’m just stating the obvious here. It’s your money. Lift it on 40s if you want. Yes, lifted trucks look sweet, but you WILL pay a price for it. Initial installation, upkeep, chasing down issues, etc.. That’s all I’m saying.

I'm in your boat. I bought Toyota for reliability. I leveled my truck and that's about it. Almost everything has been added for longevity. You start influencing angles and forces, shits gonna wear out faster, that's basic geology. Anyway op, check out your wheel speed sensors lol.

Try going to 88 rotors. They do alot of tacomas. If you don't want to figure it out yourself. They are in South El monte
