My 2004 TRD with 127K needs new frame. What are peoples experiences who have gotten their frames replaced? Friend told me his truck was never the same. also told the new Tacoma's are not as good as the old ones like mine. Im interested in getting any input from people who may know....

    Thanks

If your friend was not happy he should of have had his concerns checked out.

Then I know people that are never happy and complain about every thing

Getting @ $12,000.00 of work should make most anyone happy

The problem seems to be the back log of frames that need done

My replacement took just under 2 months and have found ZERO problems.

Is there a test to see if your frame needs it?

Our 2001 DC is a San Diego truck. Frame looks clean and nice.

If you can put a hammer or your hand through the frame it is a good sign the frame needs some attention

Unless you drive in the ocean all the time you should be fine
