    Hey Guys,

My name is Marc, been a member on here a few weeks now. After seeing all these awesome threads of people tracking their progress on their builds. I thought I would join to track my progress of the Tacoma. I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma DCLB TRD Off Road 4x4. I bought the truck back in September and have about 8,400 miles on it now and love the truck. No complaints just yet. This will by my daily/work truck so as much I would like to do long travel suspension on it, I am most likely will be doing a Mid Travel. My plan is to build a capable off road truck(even more than it already is) to do some off roading, be able to do some overloading, but also be able to take my motorcycle to the track wile still having a comfortable daily truck.

I have already ordered and installed a few parts. Which include...
    - Caliraised LED light bar with stealth brackets
    - sPod system with bluetooth
    - RCI bed rack for my RTT
    - CBI rock sliders which ill get LineX coated
    - SCS SR8 17s (matte black)
    - BFGoodrich KO2 (275/70/17)
    - Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro grille
    - Icon Stage 6 suspension with billet upper a arm (a arm coated in gold)
    - Icon bump stops
    - Wheel lugs from evasive
    - Weather tech floor mats
    - Toyota bed extender
    - Tinted my windows
    - Viair 450p compressor
    - ARB tire deflator

Future upgrades that I am thinking of getting
    - CBI front aluminum front bumper
    - CBI rear bumper
    - CBI ditch light brackets
    - CBI under body protection
    - Baja design ditch lights
    - Baja design 30" led light bar for bumper and roof
    - Warn winch
    - Warn recovery kit
    - MBRP exhaust
    - Prinsu roof rack
    - Toyota TRD pro headlights or paint my oem headlights
    - Intake (not sure which one to go with yet)
    - Supercharger (not sure which one yet)
    - Tune
    - CB radio
    - Fender well lights
    - Upgrade stock headlight bulbs
ill be adding more to the list as they come to mind...

Attached are pictures of the tacoma in its stock form and will update pictures as parts get installed.

Are your tires C or E load? I want C load because its lighter and has less of an impact on MPG so these may be a good fit for me

Do it! For me black is my favorite color so I already knew what I wanted from the start. But the mgm and also the sand storm color look good.

Marc, I just custom ordered an 18 OffRD DCLB.. I never made it to a dealer to drive one or the other... Do you have any regrets building on a DCLB over a DCSB for offroading? I had to factory order just to get a LB as almost all DC are SB, and most like the shorter wheel base.. Nice build....

    Hey Strato,

Awesome congrats!! When are you receiving it? No regrets at all. To be honest glad to have chosen the LB. for me it just made sense since I also take my motorcycles to the track and actually have space to transport things. The only thing is you will have to be more careful and chose your lines while off riding knowing you have a long bed. I’ve been off roding a few times on it now and I’ve been able to get through on sections where I’ve seen short bed trucks tear their rear bumpers off . Any ideas of what you will be doing to your truck yet?

I not a wrench turner, so starting from scratch.. I had a 01 that made it for 10 years and 88k miles before I was rear ended and rust killed it.

With the new one was thinking of lowering it and flipping the wheels inside out.. I hear that is cool..

Seriously I am in MD close to Mobtown so I know Ill get a set of sliders right off the bat.. But looking at a 2-3 inch lift is prob a no brainier if I ever to plan to take it off road just to ensure the extra clearance. I'm def interested in more over-landing than crawling, as I have been over-landing on a Harley for the last few years.. (All 49 down) but getting a bit older..

So knowing I'm a suspension newb and having seen so many opinions, definite priority is that it and the tires have the least amount of impact on mph and street ride handling, as i have a 150 mile commute most on highway so would prefer not to degrade that..

Ordered on Dec 29th.. 6-8 delivery schedule but have not heard anything yet.. Hope to have it before April
