Your last statement is not 100% true. I had a Ram 4x4. The dealer fixed everything that came up with the truck. (power lumbar, read diff issue, small oil leak in the hemi, wind noise rear window.). Jeep has replaced a leaking shock, heater/cooler evap.

all under warranty. No remarks like "its normal", "could not duplicate" Ford, Dodge, Jeep has been very responsive in fixing the vehicles I have owned.

Read through the whole thread and didn't see it mentioned. OP, maybe look into refinancing the note. 4% seems steep, even at 84 months. You can get a lower rate and shorter term and maybe have a similar payment now. Bonus, you build equity faster as more of your dollars go to the principal. Food for thought. Try a credit union or some of the internet based banks. I found Lightstream to be very easy and had competitive rates when I bought my truck. Best of luck!

Wow this all bumbs me out! This is my 6th Tacoma and never had problems with any of them except I do feel the hard shift coming to a stop! I have a 2016 trd sport double cab longbed loaded with a 2" lift! I manually shift the transmission to only use 4th and 5th gear since I live in New England and don't need 6th. This way I control the power instead of it shifting up and down. Only drive it on weekends and have only 9,700 miles on it I pray they can get a handle on all these problems and offer us a solution!! SITTIN PRETTY!!

True that... I was driving down the highway the other day and a Ford Frontier 4x4 drove past me and I could hear his front and rear diff howling... its was loud as shit. I'm like, nope I do not have a diff howl.

What happened to @smitty99 ... looks like he got a little ban hammer action. Someone must have really pissed him off!

I traded mine in for a Ridgeline. Best truck ever made according to my favorite car periodical.
