My bed is loose.

    Its probably just rusted in place if it has play and wont snug down. Spray the crap out of it over a few days with penetrating lube and see if it frees it up. The nut underneath is tack welded to the mount, it wont move unless you bust it loose like I did. :)

    This is weird, the front passenger bolt was loose on mine when I bought it, first thing I did to it.

    So because one person had a bad dealer experience I'm going to automatically have a bad dealer experience?

    If it is a spacer that is too long then they can either grind it themselves or replace it with a new spacer. While I can do this work myself I shouldn't have to. This is a warranty issue and will be dealt with as a warranty issue. The dealer is 5 minutes from my house and I don't have an issue leaving my truck with them as its not my daily driver.

    My dealer hasn't given me a reason to hate them yet so hopefully that doesn't change.

    The range on TW cracks me up. Some guys are welding and cutting away. Others are going to the dealer for a loose bolt on a 7-8 year old vehicle.

    This thread saved me lots of Trouble shooting. I have a 2015 dc with a leer topper and a noise which turns out is a loose box. Go figure.haha. Thanks for all the info guys.
