After years of waiting, my workers comp case will be settled soon.

I'm looking for a 2015 Tacoma (I do not like the third gens at all). I want a DCSB, TRD off-road, manual transmission in super white. What are the odds I can find one and also about how much will one be?

Had an uncle that sold cars for 30 years. When people would ask him for a very specific pre owned vehicle....especially one that was nearly impossible to find....he would say, "sure, but we'll have to special order that one from the used car factory". :D

I'm sure you can find one eventually, but your odds will improve if you open up the year range to 13-15. There are plenty of white DCSB trucks out there, but the tough part is going to be TRD off road and manual trans. I know what it's like to want a very specific truck. I wanted an 06-08 ACLB 4.0 auto TRD off road speedway blue with a tow package. I found it, drove a ways to get it, checked it out, and bought it. It turned out to be exactly the truck I was hoping for.

Nothing major planned, this is my daily driver. - replaced stock tires with Cooper AT3s - added Husky WeatherBeater floor mats - installed Access Original bed cover - installed Gentex 453 mirror and the included external temp sensor, also has Homelink and auto-dim - installed ImMrYo mirror bracket - hose clamp mod and washer mod to secure tailgate, with a GateKeeper lock installed over the hose clamp - replaced stock reverse lights with Philips Halogen 30w from Home Depot GY6.35 base
I own the exact truck you seek, except mine is 2014. The sales manager at the dealer told me that only 1 out of every 200-300 Tacoma's is built with a manual tranmission. I was open to several different colors and it took the dealer a few weeks to find mine. It had been ordered by another dealer's customer who then changed his mind and wanted an auto trans, my dealer drove 400 miles to get this truck from that dealer for me (after checking with me about them driving it 400 miles back).

So, be prepared to search. Be open to other colors.

    good luck!

I'm pretty much set on what I want. Once I have cash in hand I'll visit a couple local Toyota dealers and see what they might have or can locate.

Your best off is setting up searches on all the car sites. Cars.com, autotrader, carmax and so on to 1) Search for exactly what you want and 2) get alerts when new cars come kne that match that.

If you want exactly what you discribed you are probably going to have to open your search radius up to 500 miles and maybe wait a couple months.

When I was looking for my truck I was looking for something 2012+, DCSB, TRD OR, any color and a 6 speed... which is a bit more lenient than your search and it took me 2 years of consistent looking before one popped up within 200 miles of me that fit my criteria and the price was right. If you have the time and patience you can find exactly what you want and probably close enough that you wouldn't have to drive too far. But if you want something sooner or just want more than one option every few months than I'd look to do some travelling to get what you want. Just finding a 6 speed near you can be quite daunting.

A couple months isn't going to be bad considering how long my comp case has been open. I didn't want to start searching until I actually had the money in the bank. I'll probably find one and it will be sold before I have the funds. I saw on the carmax.com website that they'll ship a vehicle to a dealer that's close to you (for an added fee).

When I was searching for my truck I had my heart set on a Pro or Baja and was actually looking forward to making a road trip out of picking up my new truck from a couple hours or a day away. Then out of nowhere my truck popped up at the Chevy dealership 4 blocks from my office. But then I hear stories like I saw on Reddit yesterday where a guy bought a LandCruiser from an online dealer in Texas and had the truck shipped to him. After he got it he did some research he was able to trace he truck back to some Nigerian warlord.

I'd start contacting sales people at Toyota dealerships xx miles your willing to travel for it (or even wider if you want to ship it). Many leases are coming due and I can tell you from my experience (just bought a '15 AC SR5 with tow package last month), Toyota is having a hard time processing all the titles -delayed my deal by close to a month. I jumped on it because I did not want a 3rd gen...I would guess, depending on condition and miles, you could get it for the low 30s. Good luck

On Monday I'm headed to the lawyers office to sign some papers. After that I wait for the court date when it will be over and done with. Then a couple weeks wait for the check.

I could almost smell my new Tacoma.

Thanks for the link. Didn't find what I wanted though. I'll stop into a Toyota dealer soon and see what they could find.
I already have a list of mods I want to do, this forum is bad news ;)
