Todays the day. I think I'll also see today what the final offer is (not what the lawyer and I wanted at first). This case has been opened far too long. I need to move on with my life and just waiting sucks. A good thing is that my retraining (I can't work on cars anymore) will be paid for by the state.

I'm interested in doing IT once I settle.

Some searching of the internets. Found this truck but it's lacking the TRD OR stuff I wanted, fog lamps, 110 volt outlet in bed and misc items. If I were to add these things, it would cost a lot more than buying the truck with them already.

    https://www.carmax.com/car/14321565

I may have to print out what options came in each package, and decide on which ones I can live without or add later.

I tried for several months to find my truck (TRD Sport, Access Cab, 4wd, Manual Trans). I wanted slightly used 10-15k miles. I eventually got frustrated because whenever one popped up it sold almost immediately or was so expensive that I might as well have bought a new one..

So that's what I did. Went to my Toyota store, told them what I wanted and they got it picked it up from another Toyota store out of state w/in 2 days.

I got better financing rates buying new as well. I'm not sure if that's a factor in your case.

    Good Luck

Still waiting for the date of the hearing.

The A/C quit working on my current car (2009 Lexus ES350). I need to replace the evaporator.

Case is settled. Now I'm waiting for my money.

I plan on keeping this truck for a long time, if I can indeed find one.

My ACCESS CAB white 6 speed TRD 2015 is for sale.. 19800 miles.

Factory installed short shift. Yes, it's pretty damn awesome and also, covered by factory warranty.

I got access cab cuz dclb is a land yacht and who wants the short version of the bed? Can't fit anything in there. Having stuff resting on the tailgate is something a woman would do.

    Never wheeled it, never towed.

    This sucks.

I wont be using the bed much if at all. It would be better for me if I had a quad cab so I can have room for passengers.

I play airsoft and if I need to carpool to a larger game, we can throw the gear in the bed and have plenty of room in the cab for passengers.
I also looked at pictures of both and I like the looks of the DC, especially when it's modded.

Stopping by one of the local dealers tomorrow.

What's the main difference between a Sport and Off-Road? They have neither, I'm just curious.

Sport is sportier. Off road is off roadier.

Seriously, sport has color matched mirrors, grill, bumper, door handles and a hood scoop and wheels a little bit better. Off road has chrome grill and rear bumper, black door handles and mirrors, no scoop, and wheels even better. Both have a 400 watt 110 volt invertor.

What the difference suspension wise? The off-road is the only one with factory skids (gas tank) also, right?

    awful description, above.

the sport is for those who will never take it offroad. it has no locking rear diff, only the TRD does. both i think can have/come with the same tow package. im not sure if the sport has the oil cooler. on my 6spd manual, its basically an extra 'thing' which is a dull black color underneath the oil filter. in other words.. engine block <-> oil cooler <-> oil filter screwed down onto cooler, in that order.

generally, the TRD for various hardware reasons both starts with and maintains a higher price. get more, pay more, right? both have ATRAC and so on, yes. bottom line if you think youre EVER gonna take it to the desert or the trails anywhere that gets heavy rains or snow, cut the shit and get the TRD.

saves you the trouble of *immediately* replacing those pavement queen tires. the stock tires on the trd are merely decent but theyre at least good enough to where theyre not the very first thing you throw money at.

I've specifically searched for a manual transmission truck and automatics were included in the results? Or, the ad says it has a manual, but the pictures show an automatic.

Thanks for the description. My mind is set on the TRD OR package. I'm not too concerned about the color of the mirrors or grille. I'll be changing them to white anyway (along with the rear bumper). I really don't like the skewp on the sport. I do want the locking rear diff and 110V bed outlet. I'm also looking for a truck that hasn't been molested by the previous owner.

I have an appointment today at 9:00 at a local Toyota dealer. The internet salesman says there is a $500 deposit (which is 100% refundable) so they can locate the truck I want. I told him that I saw the truck I want but it's in Missouri, he said it's out of his "region". The truck had 50,000 miles. I think that's too many for a '15.

How big is a dealers "region" where they look for cars? I live in Connecticut, is the region just the northeast?
