    So my grandpa and i built this spare tire mount today. Materials include, square tubing, angle iron, and steel plate.

    It turned out really good i think. We also mounted it on the wheel well so i can still put stuff in the bed under it. Let me know what you think!!!

    Now i just gotta get the correct tire size on there, (now i just have the stock spare.) So if anyone has a couple 285-70-17 at they would like to sell me at a good price let me know!! Thanks for looking.

    Looks good, would be nice if it had quick disconnects just in case you had to put something large in the bed. Just my .02:)

    haha pretty easy to make. Total time was about 3 hours. Start to finish. And it is very very sturdy. my grandpa who is about 250 pounds jumped on it .

    we were gonna drill a hole for a padlock for one of the bolts but we forgot.:(

    well i kinda like the location of them here. I can easily get to them, and really there not that much in the way. If i put them behind the tire holder, they would be harder to fget to anyways
