Yeah. The guys at work are always telling me to get back to working on the daddywagon. I bought crown vic 17" steel wheels for the sleeper look. I got another 351w short block because I didn't like the helicoil repair that I did on a timing cover/water pump bolt hole. I think it was drilled offset previously so when I repaired it, it ended up off center. I pdipped one of the wheels to sample white but I have since peeled it off and it is black again. The offset of the wheels tucks them alot. I will have to run spacers up front but won't have to roll the fenders in the back. The big push this summer will be the engine. I will strip down the shortblock tonight and bring it to the machine shop tomorrow.

More please. I kinda like the white on the wheels. With trim rings could be still sleeper, but dressy.

Well. I bought the wheel spacers from american muscle. They arrived in the mail yesterday. And today I ordered pistons on a whim. Impulse buy.

I know, and I really do appreciate it. My focus right now is on the proposed engine for the daddywagon. As noted I am attempting a longer-than-stock connecting rod 351 windsor. The handful of testimonials I have read claim increased power on 87 octane pump gas with a smooth idle. In that vain I have purchased connecting rods, 4.030" Keith Black KB333 hypereutectic pistons, two 351 windsor engines and I am currently in touch with someone on craigslist about a '93-'95 cobra camshaft.

Everything about my engine build is geared towards daily driver low end torque.

What kind of wagon is that? I want one that is grandma mode to just cruise up and down the coast in. $500. Was it running when you bought it?

Yes, it was running when I bought it. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it when I purchased it. As I earned more (not much more), the plans changed a little. My ambition is outspending my budget. The original 5.0, 5 speed solid axle wagon has become 5.8 long rod engine with a cobra independent rear suspension.

Yeah. As I read through seems you've bought items and then bought different of same items a couple times. Probably not the best way to budget this thing eh. Haha. But I get it. I want to see it with the newest wheels you got.

So what kind of wagon is it though? - ford something??
