The Daddywagon needed reverse lamp lenses. Ford only glues them on and they fall off eventually. Well I finally found a set on a craigslist ad posted in Canada! The seller wanted a postal international money order first then he would send the lenses. All I have to say is thank you to Doug in Canada!

It was just as bad as it looked. My brother stepped up his game and can now rev up to 8,250 rpms on a naturally aspirated motor.

They look good on many cars. I had a backwards one on a Fiero GT that looked great.

Well, not 10's but I really like this car. Always had a spot for hot rod wagons and Ranchero/El Camino's. Same thing as wagon.

The hood scoop is installed. Cobra ‘R’ Brembo brakes are the next order of business. Then an engine rebuild to close the gap to my brother’s GT350.

lol. Not bad at all. I used to have a 17' GT350 and they're quick, but are better track cars than drag cars.

That will be quite a rebuild. Maybe get him to Watkins Glen and hope you're a much better driver is easier?

New Jersey Motorsports Park is probably closer to us but we are already talking about it. I attended a Skip Barber 3 day at Las Vegas during the blizzard of 1996 so I might be able to give him a run.

Why don’t you have the GT350 anymore? It is probably going to be the last and greatest stick shift mustang! I want one someday.

I agree. It was hard to let go, but I wanted to trade before any more depreciation. I don't keep cars long. Since I love cars and can't afford to have every car I like, I tend to trade them for the next car I want to experience. It does cost me, but it's cheaper then buying all the cars I want! I traded it for a 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo, with money on top of course. I'm eyeing the McLaren 12c next.

This starter which I purchased online crapped out on me at the worst time yesterday. It was the first day of my new job. Shirt and tie and open hood. In the parking lot of convenience store on the way to work. Starter clicked maybe 3 or 4 times and then locked up to the point where it fried the trigger wire and smoked the starter. Thankfully I was only 2 blocks away from the new site. I had to rent a trailer to get the car home. Add to that we push started it to get it on the trailer... but you could hear the starter still engaged or the flywheel is damaged or bent. Wrong flywheel all this time?.. maybe. 164 or 157 tooth are my only 2 options and I thought I researched it completely before the swap. Aaargh!!

Well I drive this Daddywagon and I don’t have oil pressure or coolant temperature gauges. Fuel level is inop. The park brake is connected but does not hold. I have no shift boot. I don’t use high beams for fear of discharging the batteries. What am I getting at?... What is the solution? The solution is a mustang dash and console!

I found this car on craigslist. I had seen it posted months ago. Well I decided to contact the seller. I paid $500, for a parts car. So, to recap, I bought 2 cars in the past week. The Mommy-mobile and a parts car for the interior of the Daddywagon! I found an old starter in the trunk of the Mommy-mobile and used it to fix the Daddywagon. It starts... just barely.

Scratch that... starter turned out to be junk. I needed a push start at Home Depot.

As long as it will push start, you're golden........or is Daddy getting a little old for that?

Yes. I’m old. Cool that we can push start a station wagon! Luckily my neighbor was there with his son. I will take a picture of the current wagon interior after work today and post with the mustang dash to compare and contrast.
