Share the enthusiasm? I'd love to pick this up down the street from me and do something like an '03 Cobra swap in it. New house 1st, then I'll work on a 5.0L sedan.

Along with the theme of sleepers, there is a Mercury Marauder I used to see when I lived in Reno. Looked and sounded stock but had blacked out windows. I saw it with the windows down one day. It was caged. I tried to play on the freeway in my WRX and got embarrassed.

A souped up vic would be real nice! The terminator 03-04 cobra motor, is still the king of oem ford power! Look like your basic unmarked police car too!

If you can get away with tinting the windows like that, then gutted and caged would be the way to go. It's what I would do. Haha!

Yes sir. Yes I do. Rides pretty great for 4.5" of lift and the aerodynamics of a brick

    Precisely.... :spy:

Yeah I was on the gas for a solid 30 seconds trying to get up to 115 lmao. It was slightly uphill and the long tube headers help after 2,500rpm, but it's hard to make a brick go faster.

I'll race your wagon against my wagon! :p

I had a 98 Camry that I got up to 110 on a few occasions. There was one time when a police chopper lit up my car like a Christmas tree! It was like a UFO was about to beam me up. My car was lit up and I look around and everyone else wasn't! Needless to say, I dropped it to 55, and expected a patrol car to pull me over shortly, but nothing happened. The light went away after about the longest half minute of my life; then nothing. I was on my way to work. I work nights.

I picked up a stock mustang catalytic h-pipe and an svo extender which enables me to increase rpm limit and adjust air/fuel ratio.

Straight pipe. Screw catalytic converters! It's old enough to not have emissions done

In the last picture above, you'll notice I have 2 exhaust setups. One has no cats and flowmaster mufflers. The other is the catalytics with stock cobra mufflers. I'm hoping with cats and stock mufflers the car ends up super quiet. But if its low on power I have the free flowing loud exhaust waiting in the wings!
