After having my 02 Tacoma 2.7L for a couple months now I can officially say this is my favorite car I’ve owned. I love this Truck! Paid $7,000 for it, 220k miles and I’m the 3rd owner. It has Pioneer Apple car play head unit and 2amps under the seats and a JL Audio Stealthbox subwoofer between the two rear seats. Also it has king coilovers. Since I’ve had the truck here are some things I’ve done:
    • Oil & filter change 5W-30 Mobil 1 full synthetic high mileage and Toyota filter.
    • Chevron fuel system cleaner
    • Toyota air filter
    • Toyota fuel filter
    • Brake fluid flush Toyota DOT 3
    • Power steering fluid change Toyota DEXRON II
    • Transmission fluid change Toyota DEXRON II and Bottle of BG Automatic Transmission Conditioner
    • new Radiator and thermostat with Toyota red coolant
    • Rear diff fluid change 75W-90 Mobil 1
    • Replaced rear diff vent valve
    • New spark plugs
    • Valve cover gasket replaced
    • Throttle body cleaned
    • Mass air flow sensor cleaned
    • Tire balance
    • Alignment
    • Weathertech floormats

Wow nice, anything around here that age with that many miles is rusted out and ready for the crusher. Nice find.

Wow, that is one clean taco you have there. Looks very well put together. I have a 2000 model same prerunner set up. Jealous of the front end and updated interior.

Awesome set up! I don’t want to go bigger on my tires with the 2.7L, it’s already a slug

Nice truck, I’d buy that for 7k too if I didn’t have one already. What is that armrest-looking carpeted partition between the back jump seats? My 04 manual trans doesn’t have that, it is just flat back there.

Thanks man! And the armrest is actually a subwoofer that the previous owner put in.

unfortunately the paint on my hood is too far gone so I’m not too worried about it. I do have a hood deflector on my 4Runner though.
