After 6months of researching, 3months lurking here I finally bit the bullet and signed away my soul for my first brand new vehicle less than 48hours ago.

I had originally been looking at Ford Rangers then read bout Tacomas and knew that was what I wanted. First I looked at the V6s but as gas has risen $1+ a gallon since my search began I figured size doesn't matter ;) and went for the 4cyl. My old truck was a 94 S10 Blazer with a 4.3L V6 with plenty of power so I thought I would be "settling" on the 4cyl, but man I've been pleasantly surprised that this baby is just fine.

It rides oh so much better, handles better, its like drivin a new car! I've already ordered wind deflectors and a bug shield. Trying to decide which rims to get, leaning towards some Cragar Soft 8's but not sure. Also still looking at radios but I got plenty of time right?

Ok enuff of my rambling. Thanks to all here who've posted. I feel like I've read almost every post on this board.

Nice looking ride, congrats on your 1st brand new truck. I really like Memphis I usually get out there a couple times each year for a week each time. When I go again in October I'll be driving my new DC.
