With my taco being the Sport package and having no chrome the stock grille emblem bothered me. So I blacked it out!! What do ya think? Like the looks of the Timberland Mica and black. Thinking of debadging/shaving the tailgate completely and painting the Tacoma emblems on the doors black. Thoughts?

Just scuffed it with a scotch brite pad used a self etching primer and then sprayed the flat black. Easy and cheap for a HUGE difference in appearance if ya ask me!

i have redone it once from this pic. I used a different primer this time around and rustoleum flat back ratlle can. It's def BLACK and looks better this time around.
I have shaved the tailgate emblems since that pic as well.
Gonna look into those eyelids for sure!

Debadged. ARE Topper. Tailgate mods, including locking handle. BAMF LCA skids.
    I like the black look.
I'm not much of a lover of chrome anything.
(I'm think of debadging the entire truck too.)
