My first Salmon (KING) Washington State

My Taco took me fishing on the Toutle River in Washington to catch my first King Salmon.
approximattly 25.lbs or so.......

Yea he was a dark one. I let him go to spawn another day. The following week I caught another that was younger and he made a couple nice filets.

It took me 25 minutes or so to get him in. He kept taking off when getting close. He was awesome to bring in, he kept going for the logs and rocks. My Penn real and uglystick worked great!
