New to me 2021 Limited Nightshade edition 4x4 AT. Got a couple scuffs and scratches in the paint, but only 35k miles, so it’s barely broken in. Drives great, and the heated leather seats are nice after a 12 hour shift.

I’ve been perusing the 3rd gen maintenance thread so I know there’s some basic maintenance needed already, and I recall someone made a printable infographic with everything you’d need to do for the first 100k+ miles but I can’t seem to find it again. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction and if anyone has a list of any specialty tools needed that’d be greatly appreciated, too.

I plan to learn as much as I can about this truck and do as much maintenance as I can myself. I’ve wanted a Tacoma for close to 20 years now. It’s nice to finally have my own.

Did you get it from a dealership or from a private sale?

From a dealership. Wasn’t planning on getting a new vehicle yet, but the stars aligned, so who am I to argue?
That’s it! Thanks muchly! I’ll get it printed out and stick it in my toolbox in the garage for reference.

Having the same truck, I know you will enjoy it. I painted the chrome wheel center emblems black and later ditched the front air deflector.

Thanks for all the welcomes, everyone!

Nice! I’m gonna leave the air dam for now since this is my new daily driver and I have a 30 mile trip to/from work every day. According to the truck I averaged 24 MPG on the drive today, which ain’t too shabby.

I figure if I ever plan any big off-roading trips I can take it off and then put it back on when I’m done. Speaking of, anyone know any good trails to get a feel for this thing in the general central Texas area?

I learned to drive in a 96 Dodge Stratus I bought off my mother. My first new vehicle was a 2005 Chevy Colorado. I wanted a Taco back then but let my brother convince me to go to the dealer where he got his Silverado instead. That was my first mistake. Since then I’ve had a couple used F150’s, the Subie behind the Taco in my pic up there and a Jeep Cherokee that we traded towards it.

It’s nice being in a truck again, especially one I’ve wanted for so long.

    Careful with that title, OP!
It seems Taco Hell is trying to usurp the use of Taco Tuesday from Taco John's (who's been using it in their advertising for about 50+ years, now)
We wouldn't want to see you in legal trouble with the 800 pound gorilla! lol!
