And I love it! I just got out of an 06 Dodge 2500 Megacab Diesel so I will like the additional fuel savings as well. That should free up some funds for new "stuff" for my Tacoma!

    Welcome!

Holy Crap! You REALLY downsized!! Duelly? Diesel? What MPG were you getting in that beast? I can't imagine driving that around in parking lots!

I owned a Dodge Ram 1500 QC for about 4 years. Loved the way it towed - like nothing was back there. Then - we stopped needing to tow and I hated driving it around in tight places. That -and the trannies are known to blow out later in life.

Tacomas are cool ...and a lotta fun! I owned one before and I had to go back.

No, I'm from Texas. Never been that far north. Just an old nickname.

Yeah it was a big truck. It was a 2500 megacab diesel single rear 4x4. I would ave about 17 mpg but with the price of diesel, it would cost me over a 100 bucks to fill up. I loved the Ram but I'm even more excited about my new Taco.

Welcome aboard from another Texan! I've been to Justin many years ago. Got a pair of boots from the factory outlet store :)

Watch out for the Carolina Alliance.

He's got no excuse for the second part. I already gave him a map.

Apologies for the hijack, badger, but it's what we do around here :D

I figure if he can go the same direction long enough, he'll either a) hit an ocean, or b) find someone to fight in either Texas or Canadia.

PM a member by the nick of kilo. He's a member of a DFW area Toyota offroaders club. I think they meet monthly in Grapevine and do a couple of big offroad trips a year.
