Ok so theres a mud pit back at home, as i visited we decided to go to it and watch people off road. we got into it and well my friend got stuck, i mean stuck to the water inside, needless to say a new starter and a new alternator and the truck started up. The problem consist of my friends TRD locker is stuck on ON, and we taught we had vacumed it out good, but water keeps creeping in, anyone know what to do on eighter one.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

The locker is an electrical solenoid. The 4x4 computer on a first gen is behind the left front kick panel. It is possible that it is fried if the water was that high. How much water was in the truck? How high did it go in the cab?

As for the water seeping in, I would suggest removing all the seats, carpet and panels you possible could. The leave the doors open for a few days.

Might have to exercise the locker or maybe the electrical is fried. Other than that I don't know. I do however have experience with water getting into the truck, for us we just had to keep cleaning it up until it stops leaking in, its just caught in places you can't get to.

The computer is under the dash on the left side. Sit in the drivers seat and take your left foot over to the left until it hits the cab. There will be a plastic piece covering it.

The solenoid is mounted on the axle at the top of the pumpkin.
