Apparently, when I was very young, every time I'd see a big truck on the road, I'd point excitedly and say "look at the gig tuck!!!".

Some 50+ years later, I finally decided to get my own gig tuck. 2017 White Limited Mall Crawler edition.

Truthfully, other than some pretty gnarly backroads to get to various mountain bike trails, I don't really off-road. So embarrassingly, I just old the dealer to make it look more like TRD Pro... then I'd play around with some of my own mods.

    Dealer installed:
    Pro wheels/tires
    3" lift
    Predator steps
    Tinted windows
    Pro grill
    Rear cover
    Roof racks

    My Personal touches:
Debadged all but the "Tacoma" from the sides and back.
Derped the front and sides red. Vinyl red for the back.
Custom build raptor lights using LEDs from Oznium
Custom LED light on pressure switch in center box
    Rigid Fogs
    AJT Design Key fob
    AJT Design Shift Knob
Passenger floor mat mod to keep in place
    Bed Liner
    Swing-out case
Custom First aid kit mounted to front rail (added), with padlocks
    LEDs throughout inside
    LED brighter brake lights
    Plasti-dip side mirrors
    Added new turn signals
Lighted RGB cup holders using Oznium RGB micro controller hidden in center box

    Coming:

    Front camera mod
    Dashcams (maybe)

    Nice.

What's with the pen holder? I didn't see it listed.

Did you wire the console and install a light. Details please.

Pen holder was there.... actually think it's made for the truck key?

LED light stuck to top. wired down to the switch momentary switch (in pic), then down through the hinge holes (you can see the black and red wires). The wires run behind the actual compartment, between that and the cup holders.

I took power from the Power outlet that is inside the box, so took at the entire center console as well.

Probably took me about 5 hours total, as I kept fiddling around with where the wires might go, and how to run the switch. That last part was a bit of a pain, as the clearance with the lid can be a problem. what ended up working is drilling a small hole in the console tray organizer (off Amazon)... so the switch goes into the hole when the lid is closed.

I like the back story. Mom says my first word was truck. I guess we still haven’t grown up.

Love the lighted console lid, think wiring it to the dome is to much work? This one just added to my "to do" list. Thanx.

    Sweet truck.

    I like what you've done.

I was thinking about a lighted cupholder/coaster as I was driving to work and sipping coffee. It was dark out and I run the interior lights fairly low. "Sure would be nice to have a lighted cup holder". Interested to see how you address that.

Details on the custom raptors from oznium? I like the placement of those. How did you install?
