    Well I guess it's not a true retro per se since I didn't make any major modifications to the stock lamps, but it's not really plug and play either. Something in the middle I guess :cool:

    I bought a G3 projector kit from a member on another board who modded up the shields to have a DOT cutoff. The installation is pretty simple. Open up the headlamps, remove the halogen shield, then slide the projectors in from the front of the reflector. It's secured in the back by a retaining ring that basically replaces the original bulb housing. I didn't take any pics of this process, but it's not much more difficult than doing a BHLM.

    I also noticed that the lenses on my lights were kinda hazy along the top, so I picked up one of those headlight restoration kits from Meguiars and polished them up. It's pretty easy and the results were good.

    I snapped these pics right after doing the polishing. I'll try to get some night shots of the lights later since I still need to aim them.
