My passenger side rear hub wobbles. I didn't notice this until after I installed the gears. I haven't wheeled since so I doubt I could have bent the shaft.

I can feel it while driving and visually check the hub while jacked up in gear I can see it wobble. I can also see the tire wobble while wheel is bolted to hub.

Can't feel play while pulling on the tire/wheel on either side.

Would it have play if I have it bolted to the hub with the drum on?

After reading your gear write up I think you need to take apart that axle or go to dealer to get checked

Did you remove the rear axle bearing assembly? Or loosen the 4 bolts?

Loosened the 4 bolts and pulled the shaft. It did sit unsupported a couple times while I worked the 3rds in and out.

Can't seem to get any play by shaking the tire.

Well there are not many possibilities here
    1. Axle is bent
    2. Axle is sitting wrong on bearing
    3. Axle is bolted incorrectly
    4. Third is setup wrong or bolted incorrectly.

Axle is easy to check simply roll on flat surface (kitchen table if wife is out shopping)

    re-bolt axle correctly

Third, I doubt Third is bad more likely when you played with locker due to not have -preset to locked position before installation something happened and its now out of alignment.

I don't understand how I could have bolted it back in wrong. I just slid it out. Slid it back in and tightened the 4 nuts down. Third is hard to bolt in wrong, the shift fork is on the opposite side but even if that were the case it would only cause it to be locked, no?

I can't imagine the axle is bent but I'll check it soon.

Could I have messed up some inner bearing while pushing the shaft back in. I didn't force it in ever. Like I said I did let it sit unsupported while pulling the third. I didn't actually pull the whole shaft out, just slid it out enough to get the 3rd out.
