After some encouraging words from some folks here on different issues I was considering I decided to order (a no guarantee proposition) a Toyota Tacoma SR5. So I emailed the guy at the dealership and told him I had decided to go for the SR5 package added to what I had already specified. Little while later I get a response with the price out the door. Call him to tell him he has a deal and he says, "BTW - I wasn't thinking earlier when I said I could order one. I actually have one already enroute to the dealership, exactly what you want except for the bluetooth which we will add here and it is scheduled to arrive between April 11th and April 17th."

So now instead of having to order one and wait six to twelve weeks with no guarantee it will ever come I should have one in less than two weeks.

    Here is what I'm getting:
2011 Tacoma Access Cab 2WD, 4 cyl, automatic, SR5. Pyrite Mica with graphite interior and all weather floor mats. And of course the Blu-Logic Hands Free System

Thanks. If I had wanted a 4x4 and/or double cab the dealers had lots of them including those equipped exactly they way I wanted. But 2wd, 4 cyl, automatics are hard to find. When the one I'm buying arrives at the dealer it will be the only one like it in northern California. You would think they would build more of them.
