Thought I would point out some of the finer points of Tread Lightly.

We don't like to encourage or allow postings depicting behavior contradictory to responsible 4x4 activity and I'm very apt to remove the post.

Rant: No offense, I checked the sight code of conduct and could not find this anywhere, I appreciate your insight... I really do.. however, "we" is subjective and refers to those that share your point of view, this is a public board and I would hope that you would respect the beliefs of all the members here, thank you.

If you destroy it, you lose it forever. By being irresponsible, promoting irresponsibility, or being passive in the face of it, you add fuel to the arguments on how offroaders are a menace and how we are destroying nature. It gets legal locations shut down.

I hate to harp on it, but we need to keep up a good image for new guys (myself included) so we don't promote the wrong message.

I dont think its good form to be posting pics like this, as its ammo for those that are trying, and succeding, to close trails. If you want to tear up your propperty, thats fine, but openly posting pics of Trail Blazing is bad for the off roading comunity as a whole. It might not be written in the "sight code of conduct", but its still somthing TW does not endorse. A few members have checked on the legalities of the antics posted in your pics, and it seems you may, in fact, be violating local laws.

Yes really! Offroad doesn't mean all bets are off.

Perhaps you mistake public for private as in this board is owned by one person. Sure it is open to the public but... "We" is the collective of Moderators and Admin that share the same feelings. Not to mention quite a few others that are tired of seeing areas closed down due to abuse.

his views reflect the responsible 4wd community as a whole...plus he is a mod...so he kind of has a bit more say as to what goes...and while it MAY be a public board...Bob and his moderators have the final say because it is Bobs board first and foremost

illegal wheeling is just that...illegal...and it gives fuel to those who want to take away our legal places to wheel

The pics were of my fathers property in which I have permission to ride as I choose. The pics I thought might represent anything wrong, such as going where we don't belong, I did not post. I am amazed that pics of trucks in mud can raise so many issues.
