    Gents (ladies too),

Keeping this short. Here's my FIRST post, and FIRST time owning a truck. I chose the 2012 Tacoma CCLB, TRD Sport, with navigation and JBL speakers.

I realized using the, "Search" button on this forum was a pet peeve of many people, therefore, I modded my truck entirely on searching :amen:

It's been about a month of owning it, and just broke the 1,000mi mark. The obvious mods are in the pictures, but some aren't visible such as...

    -2.5" 5100's up front
-Toytec AAL in the rear (had a TSB already)
    -Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70/17's
-Semi-gloss powdercoated stock sport rims with TRD center caps
    -AERO Turbine 2525 exhaust

**Ordered Shrockworks sliders, but as we all know, I will be waiting forever for them :(**

That's what she said!! Lol jk.. Thanks fellas.. I powdercoated my rims locally for $300. In at 8am, out by 5pm!! :)

Couldn't beat that. Plus the quality is amazing. He was showing me his work that was made into magazine shoots.

The ride is great. No complaints, as I searched for an inexpensive lift, I chose 5100's over front spacers :) not going off roading so I chose this setup

    Aloha

    Nice truck...

I'm a first-time taco buyer.. as of just hours ago. '12 DC BLK TRD Sport - standard bones stock with trd sport package

Can't wait for it to be delivered in a few weeks. Making its way up to canada where it belongs, where it will stay for a while maybe 400,000km or more I hope.

Been looking at used for a while, but with the resale of these tacos, it makes more sence buying new.

I need advice - best sites / where to shop for side steps... tonneau cover... etc. With our winters, road salt, should I be grabbing some corrosion protection (anodes? or spray?)

best products out there, what should I do to it first?

I've been dreaming of this day for a while.. all my cash has gone to paying off school dept and finally I'm weeks away.

    I'm Pumped

Got to search bud. Google, here, images, etc etc. What's good to one sucks for another.. Seriously, it's all in what YOU want, and you'll know what you want when you see it so start looking! Then when you find the specific item, I.e- shrockworks sliders, do a specific search for reviews on that.. Get it? That's all I did for days on out when I first bought my truck..
It's like home decorating, so many options and ideas, you just got to find what fits YOU best...

    Welcome by the way :)

TRD emblems were found on eBay for 5bux :)
