leave it on the ground to break it free. pull the hub dome, put the wheel back on (3 lugs only) set it back down and chock the wheel to help it stay still. once it's loose then you can jack it up and put it on stands

also, make sure your using 1/2 ratchet, and deep 35mm socket, that way eliminate the extension vulnerability

maybe lock it in 4wd and see if that works with the wheel off?

also most extension aren't rated for "impacts" but it might be time to invest in one that is (thinks to myself, ooh more tools for the garage :D )

Also found the 2 other issues. Parking brake cable snapped.

Rear exhaust hanger broke cause the cat to sit down on the frame. The joint after the front sensor where the cat bolts up has a pretty good leak because the exhaust hanging. There's my code issue.

This truck has a longtube on it. Would you guys know do most of the longtube aftermarket headers use the same exhaust gasket to bolt to the oem exhaust as factory.

I got a leak where the header bolts to the exhaust before the 02 and then one after the 02 where the exhaust bolts to the cat...not big problems but annoying problems

Test out 4wd and see if the vibration goes away in 4hi, if it does then your needle bearing in the front diff (driver's side of the tube) is bad.

I had a bad vibration at 55+ mph that was due to a shot carrier bearing on the driveshaft

Vibration is still there, I know has a lot to do with how cupped the tires are.

Also I'm pretty sure the CEL is from the exhaust leaks, I have new gaskets for the headerss and pipe for the cat

Check your control arm bushings, if they are worn and allowing the upper and/or lower control arms to move around while driving, you'll get bad vibes and crappy worn tires.

General alignment too if it hasn't had one yet

Oh an alignment I'd definitely needed. The bushing in the control arms are ok, the lower struts have hardly any bushings left in them.

    Thinking about going bilsteins

Cv axle done, and a new radio in.

Next in line is prolly gonna be suspension or tires. I hate these wheels trying to sell them or trade for some newer model stocks and highway or non aggressive all terrains. Some p rated tires.

Got a small transfer case leak but that's not immediate just topped it off today. Really wanna change the fluid in the m5 though.

A little bit yes. But too much is a problem. I knew my CB was bad because you could see a tear in the rubber bushing around it. When I took it off you could really see how wallowed out it had gotten in the middle.

New carrier bearing solved my vibration on the highway at 55 - 70mph. Steering wheel shake went away.

Holy shit lol. Mine was just a small tear. Yeah you really need to replace that asap before the play in the driveshaft starts to mess up other stuff like your u-joints and seals.

It's an easy install, I did it in under 2 hrs taking my time. That thread I linked above has some good step by step instructions on how to do it.

I would recommend getting a new stake nut as well. I don't know if Napa will have the right size one, I had to order it from the dealer. You may be able to reuse the one that's on there but it might also get damaged when you take it off.

Napa didn't have the steak nut, but even though my tires has some cupping...I'm almost positive now this is where the vibration is coming from. I have a shop but not sure I can get it all the way in there with all the other crap...bad storms coming through. Hopefully i can get it done tonight or maybe tomorrow...it makes me nervous lol
