So, I've had my truck for just over a week now and am adjusting to having a truck (coming from a 2000 Honda Civic LX), and am doing some basic initial work and was curious if there is anything else I should do that's logical/falls in line with the work I am already doing.

This week I am going to do an oil change on the vehicle to migrate it to synthetic motor oil as it currently has dino oil in it. Should I do this by doing an intermittent stage of a blended oil?

I don't know whether the spark plugs were changed at 60k miles point (currently at 65k), I just want to make sure that these were done and so I learn how to do it properly on this vehicle.

I have ordered the AFE Pro-Dry S from Amazon today (61.93 shipped), and an UltraGauge that I am going to mount in the temp/compass overhead location.

Is there anything else I could do that would fall logically in line with the things I'll be doing this week? (Sorry if this is kind of asking a dim question but I'm definitely no mechanic)
