so i finally started my satoshi!!! although everyone seems to make a new thread when they start a project like this, i figured i'd jump on the bandwagon and share my experience. when i started i was looking for all the help/examples i could get.

so here we go (in progress):

i ordered an extra grille from parts geek for about $40. it came in two pieces, so i popped out the inside to work on and set the outside aside:

then, since i didnt want to buy a dremel, i used this little guy to cut the inside of the grill out:

    to get this:

i then sanded down the excess around the sides to clean it up:

with the plastic left over from the inside of the grille, i cut out four little piece and super-glued them in like so:

sanded until i couldnt feel where they began (although it may not look that way):

right now they have more glue on them (filling in a few little gaps) to dry overnight. i am kinda cheaping out here, im trying to get away with not buying any bondo, so im just using superglue to fill in the holes (we will see how that works out). ill be sure to keep y'all posted!
