Hello there everyone , yes as I stated I do now own my second Tacoma . I needed to upgrade in size and functionality . I am new to this site here , so I will inform everyone of what I did have and now own . My first Tacoma was an extra cab prerunner with the SR5 package . Now I own an double cab , long bed SR5 4x4 . I really love my new truck , but it isn't quite good enough if you know what I mean . There is plenty of things I will be adding to my truck to make it my own . I can't wait to see the good information that I can get from other owners since finding specific reviews elsewhere is a little difficult for my truck especially.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me in . It's really nice to finally find a place like this here. Just wondering though , had anyone had anyproblems with there transmission ? I know mine shifts one gear lower than what it needs to be in on a yeilding type of stopping .:)

Yeah....its prob the biggest complaint of the 09 club. From what most people have said is that its just a characteristic of the xmsn and is normal. It is strange but you get use to it. I have not heard if there has been a fix from Toyota or if the 2010 trucks do it as well.

I hate to say that I can't seem to find where I read this at but they are talking about putting up a tsb for this but not sure when they will . You know how that goes . They have made quite a few changes on the 09 models. Just hopfully there isn't too many bugs that they will have to work out to get them strat . Like the back up camera , I'm loving it , just hoping the it will last .

Are you talking about the transmission down shifting while you brake? They all do that... I think it's a Toyota thing. My wife's '06 RX330 does it, too.
