I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
That is only for the LB trucks where the cross-member is moved forward. the 07 DCSB does have a odd rivet towards the rear of the frame so notching the frame plate would be required on some sliders. And there is really no solid way to build a true bolt on slider for the 2nd Gens that will hold up to the abuse if hard wheeling. Drilling the frame is the only way to get a solid mount. But with that said guys not willing to drill or modify their truck will not really wheel it hard anyway.

Huh.... Thanks for the clarification. I thaught about adding another leg next to the middle one that shared the same large plate that used 2-3 bolts in holes or ready in the frame. But I didnt want to add abunch of weight to them.. The ones I made are more for light offroading and if someone plans to bash on there sliders then they can drill the bottom holes for added strength.

Good job with the Fab work guy. im a welder fabricator myself.

what i plan to do is similar to yours but have steps like these removable.
basically, remove the step portion from the slider when its time to go wheeling.

i i m planning on using 1"ID seamless tubing- so the steps would insert to these. hard to explain but ill make a plan for yall.[IMG]

Nice bro looks really good! Whats your take on cost for a DCSB 2wd? Also where abouts are you located?

Got them all primed up and painted with Rustoleum Spray on bed liner... :)
It looks really good, I like the texture, I just wish the stuff sprayed more evenly and the cans went farther... I used like 7 cans! 1 can did 1.5 coats on 1 slider..
I did like 4-5 light coats trying not to get runs.. And it turned out good, I just hope it last's.

you can see in the pic where the thicker heavier spots are.. hope they go away when it fully cures.

Here is the finished product! I got the bottom bolt holes drilled and bolts installed.. Now they are very sturdy! :)
