Sorry I didn't respond about the Director, but I work offshore and sometimes it is awhile before I see posts. Anyhow did you get it figured out? Also how do you like those C3Cx's? Did they fit okay? I want to put those in my wife's 4runner

I haven’t messed with the director yet. I’ll do it later on.

I really really like the c3cx’s. I think they fit perfectly without any brackets. I put foam on the backside and all that’s holding it down is the bezel.

Love the C3Cxs. I've had problem, burning up the little tweeters, but they sound great when they are working.

I also think the P-six is the best dsp/amp combo on the market. That thing makes a ton of clean power and sounds fantastic.

They cost what I figured they would. But overall I am extremely happy. They were done by JT Audio and Acc who has been doing this for 30+ years.

been a while since ive updated this but the AF 3way with the mids and tweets on the pillars makes a huge difference when compared to the c3cx's that were in the stock dash location.

You went from a set of amazing endgame speakers, to another set of amazing endgame speakers. As some one who is about to embark on a multi thousand dollar sound journey...

Why? I don't have an opinion either way, just curious, and want to get more info to help me make the right choices.

Did you ever try the c3cx in a pillar location?, what about their 3" tweeter combo? Did you consider the Illusion 8" midbass for the doors? Why the L10 sub and not a c10, or 12"?

And how are those speakers facing across the dash, and not directly at the driver?

I'm considering a 3" mid in the oem spot and tweeters in the sail panels. Do you think that would work?

    thanks for any help
