Well today its freezing rain here in Iowa and had some high school kid come around a corner way too fast into my lane. Tried to avoid him but sadly the taco got some custom body work. Looks like a new heavy duty bumper is in order to deal with the yahoos out there who can't control their vehicles.

That sucks man! Sorry to hear about that. And Retro's too??? Damn!

That is exactly why I don't drive in the ice and snow unless I absolutely have too. I don't worry about me but everyone else around here can't drive for shit.

Yeah just got them not too long ago. Just hoping the cops don't blame weather. I had full control hence why it's my passenger side. I tried to turn and miss him. The tacomas bumpers are too weak in my opinion.

I have uninsured driver insurance thankfully. But I don't know if I'll still have to pay my deductible. Going to the doctor tomorrow probably to have my back checked. Feels a little tweaked now that I'm not hyped up on adrenaline.

Any claim made against your own insurance policy requires the applicable deductible.

I also live in Iowa and I found out the hard way that un/underinsured motorist coverage only includes medical payments. I wasn't clear from the post if that was your understanding.

In AZ, you can add whatever you want but you're gonna pay for it. Mine covers medical and property, and that was the default for AZ. Iowa must only require medical for under/uninsured, but I'm sure you could add property to it.

Well I guess mine is only medical and they do have insurance. He had a wrong/old card from before they switched over. His mom wants to pay for it out of pocket. Sounds b like a nice pay day for me if it all works out now

Odds are you would get more $$ from an insurance check, but hear her offer first. She probably has no fucking clue how much that type of damage is going to cost her out of pocket. Couple grand easily.

Yeah im guessing my quote will be around 4000 to 5000 because I took it to the highest place in town for estimates. But they have money and own a business so maybe they won't care. Merry Christmas to me.
