Yeah, maybe I should have held back.

But I do know of one guy who had his modified 85 Toyota 4x4 stolen. The thieves had driven it around the block, stole all his change out of the truck and left it parked without a scratch on it. They even left him the KEY they brought with them to steal it.

Again, good luck OP. This is why you pay for insurance every month.

I feel your pain and hope everything turns out ok. When my 88 4runner got stolen they found it a couple miles away behind a safeway. The gas light was on when I parked it and since it had a locking gas cap they just ditched the truck. When I got it back there was a pot pipe between the seats, some shitty mexican music in the tape player, and a piece of pizza on the floor. They ended up stealing the step from the drivers side and the window vent visors. To top it off the pot pipe was friken empty..the dirty basturds!! :rasta:

Sorry to hear the bad news. I work pretty close to where it was stolen (certainly a bit of sketchy area) and sometimes leave my truck parked overnight.

You have a great looking truck and it looks like you spent a lot of time making it unique. You might want to add a couple of photos and a good description to your original post. Looks like a black extended cab with Satoshi, black wheels, Tacomaworld sticker, plate number, etc.

There are several Reno members here and I am sure we will all keep an eye out for the truck. It is a long shot but you never know, Reno is pretty small. Consider posting on Craigslist too. Sorry.

My dad had his '85 pickup stolen, with my carseat still in it:eek:. I guess he ended up finding it the next day a few streets over, idiots. It was fine, they didn't hurt it at all.

i know someone's brother who is sitting in a florida jail right now for car theft. he would go to nevada to steal cars and drive them back to florida, then sell them to be stripped, or put on container ships and sold overseas.

i feel bad for you man, i hope you either get your truck back in good condition, or the insurance pays for a new(er) one. maybe a vid camera in the area caught something, damn cameras are everywhere these days.

    good luck!

    I know, exactly.

    Sorry to hear OP.

I had my trailer broken into a few nights ago and the fuckers stole some of my work equipment. I fantasize about catching them in the act and beating their fuckin faces in sometimes and it makes me feel a little better :D or maybe that better feeling is because insurance is taking care of me.

Anyway, don't worry. A little inconvienence now and you will most like be better off once your insurance sets it right.

Sorry about your truck. I was wondering if insurance pays for the upgrades and mods you have done.
