Ok, I made a device that keeps the EFI power circuit open and allows the vehicle to crank but not start.
The cranking will attract attention to your vehicle. They can crank till the batterys dead.
Or, you can connect this device to any circuit that will dissable the engine.
To start your vehicle, turn the key to the ON position and swipe a magnet across the
area with the hidden switch, and start your vehicle. When you turn the vehicle off, the device resets.
so you need to swipe the magnet every time to start, and there is no need to remember to arm the device. I also include a failsafe feature that
deactivates the device to allow you to deactivate the device for mechanics or if you just want to disable
the device until you want it active.
There are a multitude of circuits you can disable with this device. It can be used for autos, trucks, boats, motorcycles, anything with an ignition switch and engine!
It comes with instructions for installation.

I know that something like this was mentioned previously, but I have the devices and they're ready to ship!

Installation time: depends on the locations you choose, but estimate one to two hours.

I installed this on my 2001 Tacoma, now I don't worry about my truck being stolen.
    Its cheap insurance!!!

Damn, sorry man, that sucks. Better off parking in one of the garages at Circus Circus in my opinion. Good luck.

I'll be keeping an eye out.

Someone. Invent a device that can be activated by a satellite rigged to some c4 hidden in an inconspicuous location on the car. after insurance has recovered your costs and all hope is lost on recovery. activate the c4 bomb and blow that fucking ass hole a mile high. Thieves should be treated like rabid dogs. Shoot on sight!

So I guess my truck wasn't stolen. After a long night of drinking I parked my car in a different spot to go to a different bar. I was blacked out and when I went to get my truck in the original spot it obviously wasn't there because I moved it! I found it a few days later right where I left it. I was too embarrassed to let my taco bros know what I did, but now I'm coming clean, I've missed this site!!!!!!!

    SCHULLY IS BACK MOTHAFUCKA!!!!!!

Hehe, that's pretty funny (in retrospect) Schully. It's not like none of the rest of us have done something like that. I know I'm on the list. :)

Glad you got your Taco back.

The whole time I was reading this I was wondering what happened to the OP. :)

A couple years ago I took my car to my mechanic and he gave me their old minivan as a loaner for the whole day and overnight. The next day he saw me pull in with the loaner and he had to call the sheriff. He completely forgot that he loaned it to me and had reported it stolen. Now that would have been fun if I had been spotted driving around and the cops pulled me over with guns drawn!
