One thing after another, it sure is! Wow......At least your turbo won't have wastegate, bearing, or boost issues now though!

There are maf sensor extension harnesses. You might have those at your disposal or through one of your sources. If not, URD sells them.

Point is, recirc bov with maf pre turbo, and vent bov with maf post bov. Mine is setup with the maf about 8-12 inches after the bov, and also with a flow straightener right before it. Not one single issue as is.

My friend's, he had his like yours, and had to run a recirc tube back over, then problem solved.

Being that you already discussed the options, it just depends on which it most effective give the current setup.

Lol typical Chinese turbo kit.. Only problem is that no one else makes a somewhat quality turbo manifold or downpipe

So small update... The whole running rich thing sucked and the TiAL sounds too good to just recirc and add yet another hose running across the engine bay.

Got to work 30 minutes early and redid my cold pipe with the MAF past the TiAL.

extended the MAF harness manually, I didn't want to pay $30-40 for something as simple as extending 5 wires 6 inches.... Success!

Truck is back to running just like factory (with some extra pep obviously) and I kept the juicy sounds of the TiAL.

Do you have any plans to dyno on this setup or after you get the fuel system upgrades?

Beautiful setup. Could probably make some extra cash making the pipes for the intercooler

I wasn't planning on it, but I might just to see the power output. I can tune the truck without needing to go on a dyno.

What kind of program do you use for tuning? I am gathering info for a two stage project. First, adding turbo with stock programming and components. Have come to understand if you want quality, it's better to buy the components yourself and get your hands dirty. Second, will be adding programming and inter-cooler. Can you provide a list the components you used on your build? Thanks so much!

Every day when Im cruising down the highway to work Im racking my brain on how I could hang twins on the v6. Biggest problem for me is getting them to work with the snorkle...

Hey, this question goes out to anyone running forced induction but to Kirk especially. What's been your experience with longevity when adding boost to a motor that is not specifically built for it? I know you haven't had the turbo on your Tacoma for long but what about any other vehicles you've added boost to?

I've heard the 2TR and 1GR engines have pretty well built internals but if I'm not mistaken the compression ratio is up around 10:1 for these motors. Adding boost must be kinda hard on these engines, right?
