My xrunner wont past 4000rpms -Please help me-

    Hi! I'm new to the site, my tacoma xrunner 2007, won't past 4000rpms I put the scanner and gave me P0102 and P0102 pending. change the flow meter and still doing the same. Disconnect the flow meter with the engine running and nothing happens. someone help me. thx

    If you disconnected the "flow meter" and nothing happened... What do you think it might be..........

    Interior LEDs in foot well, sub rings, map lights, dome light, self done window tint, "always on fogs" custom head unit, custom built sub box for access cabs.
    Are you attempting to pass 4000 in neutral with the clutch depressed? If so its going to rev limit to keep you from blowing the engine. If the clutch is pressed you can rev past 4000 don't know why you'd be doing so. If you're going down the road trying to shift at 4K you're clutch, tranny, engine, possibly your rear end aren't going to last long bud. I drive mine like a toy from time to time. But these trucks make all their torque right at 3800 and max HP at 5200 but you'll never feel the difference besides the torque at 3800
